- Faculty members must prepare lesson plans well in advance before the commencement of classes.
2. Institutional Commitment:
- Faculty should engage earnestly and efficiently in accordance with institutional policies during their service period.
3. Political Neutrality:
- No engagement in political activities within the college premises.
4. Punctuality & Participation:
- Teaching staff must be punctual and actively participate in all college activities and events.
5. Attendance & Responsibilities:
- Regular signing in the attendance register is mandatory.
- Responsibilities include lectures, practicals, tutorials, evaluations, invigilation, administrative duties, student counseling, and extracurricular activities.
6. Working Hours:
- Adhere to the prescribed timetable and any additional duties assigned.
7. Mentor-Ward System:
- Teachers should guide, motivate, counsel, and monitor their group of students diligently.
8. Impartiality & Respect:
- Treat all students impartially regardless of religion, caste, economic, social, or physical identity.

For Non-Teaching/Administrative Staff
Our non-teaching and administrative staff play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our college. Their adherence to professional standards ensures a supportive and respectful environment for both students and faculty.

- Perform duties efficiently and according to institutional norms.
2. Working Hours:
- Regular working hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break on all working days.
3. Confidentiality & Integrity:
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to student and staff records and other sensitive matters.
- Display honesty in words and actions.
4. Punctuality & Discipline:
- Be punctual and disciplined in all work-related activities.
5. Equality & Respect:
- Refrain from any form of unlawful discrimination.
- Avoid verbal, non-verbal, and physical misconduct.
For Students
Students of B.N. Saha D.A.V Teachers Training College are expected to exhibit commitment, respect, and discipline in their academic and extracurricular endeavors. Adhering to the following guidelines will ensure a conducive learning environment for all.
1. Attendance & Participation:
- Maintain a minimum of 80% attendance to be eligible for University Examinations.
- Attendance in all College Functions is mandatory.
2. Disciplinary Actions:
- Inform the Principal/Teacher in charge if not attending classes for more than four consecutive weeks.
- Applications for leave must be submitted in advance with appropriate documentation.
3. Campus Conduct:
- Carry your Identity card at all times.
- Help keep the campus neat and clean.
- Use of mobile phones during lectures is prohibited.
4. Respect & Integrity:
- Avoid spitting, smoking, or littering the campus.
- Do not misuse college premises or properties.
- Do not engage in ragging or harassment of fellow students.
